Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year Hannah dressed up as a cook, Ellie a Princess, Ryan didn't want his costume on, Brent was batman, and Jacob was a vampire.  Hannah also tried on my butterfly wings.

I have finished up the valences for both of the living rooms.  They are pretty easy to make and warm up the rooms nicely.

Library Trick or Treat

Today was the Trick or Treat event at the library.  Brent took the day off of work and we took him together.  We also voted while we were there.  Afterwards we headed to Freddy's for some yummy lunch.

So... This happened on the way to work this morning. I (Brent) only got about ten miles down the road, had to change my tire, and then come back home so that I could get my car fixed today. What's crazy about this, is the tread is almost perfect. The tire is not very old, less than a year. No one was injured in the making of this picture.

Hannah's 11th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to a growing young lady!  Hannah wanted cinnamon scone treats for her birthday "cake."  

East Texas Zoo & Gator Park

We had not school today so Charlea called me up and said, "Let's GO!"  So off we went to the East Texas Zoo & Gator Park.  There was a large variety of animals to see and touch and interact with.  We watched them feed the alligators too, which was really neat.
