Brother Crawford sent our kiddos some safety bracelets.  They were all thrilled for a present from a Colorado friend.  Ellie was excited too, she was just throwing a momentary fit about something.

Granger has figured out that there are lots of fun things to chew upstairs.  I had to devise a gate that he couldn't get through.  It's a good thing that he's cute!

Ellie Gets to Ride on an Airplane

Well, Ellie is feeling better and ready to go home.  She gets to have her first airplane ride and is excited about it.  We also got to see Lisa and Lexie before we left for the airport.

Back at Grandma's House

We are out of the hospital and hanging out at Grandma's house! Yay! Thank you, everyone, for all of the prayers. She had a speedy recovery.

Feeling Better

Brent is driving home today with the other kids so that regular life can resume. He will be working from home, but needs a quiet house because of conference calls. Would anyone be up for playing with a sweet puppy during the day Wednesday and Thursday? Ryan's care has been arranged.

Ellie and Mommy have a flight scheduled for Thursday night. If our medical plan goes accordingly, then we will make our flight and get in at 11pm. Would anyone like to sit at the house while Brent Luke comes to pick us up?

Ellie is chipper and having fun eating and watching whatever her little heart desires. Her favorite part of the experience is playing with the hospital bed! Yesterday morning we had hot air balloons floating right outside our hospital room. We are definitely having an adventure with it all!

Ellie Gets an Ambulance Ride

This little girl doesn't do anything halfway! She has an infection, most likely mrsa, and has been admitted to the hospital for iv antibiotics and probably a surgical procedure to remove pus from her infection. The great part of this is that the hospital that we went to  doesn't have a pediatric unit. She and I rode in an ambulance to Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs so she could get specialized care (paid for by the hospital). We were supposed to drive home to Texas tomorrow and now are scrambling to get things taken care of at home for today and possibly Wednesday. 

Fort Collins Temple Open House

We made a quick trip up to Colorado this weekend to see the Fort Collins Temple Open House.  We invited our neighbor, Lil Beam, to come with us.  There was such a sweet spirit there even though it hasn't been dedicated yet.  The kids loved seeing the temple!  We also had a fun game night with our Greeley friends.
