Texas Rain

Today we had a good rain.  It came down hard and fast.  Just thought I'd take a picture.  :)

Hutchins BBQ

For date night Brent and I headed to Hutchins BBQ.  It is simply divine.  This food melts in your mouth like butter.  Brent's favorite thing to get the the Texas Twinkie.  It is a jalapeno with brisket and cream cheese inside, wrapped in bacon and smothered with BBQ sauce.  

Last Day of School!

Today was Jacob and Hannah's last day of school!  We celebrated by getting ice cream at Braum's.  Afterwards, Ryan got into the diaper rash ointment again and my makeup.  Stinker.

Ellie's Preschool Graduation

Today was Ellie's last day of preschool!  She is SO ready to be a big kindergartener.  Miss Amy Sanders had enjoyed Ellie and her enthusiam this year.  She also put together a memory book for the kids to look back on.  Here's to moving on!

Diaper Rash Ointment

Ryan got into the Diaper Rash Ointment and made a mess of himself.  That took a few washings to get out!

I made a quick trip to Colorado for an orthodontist appointment.  My sweet friends met up with me at Cafe Mexicali for a fun lunch before I headed home.

What's Nap Time?

This is how I found Ryan this afternoon after his "Nap."  Obviously he didn't sleep but he had a grand time making a mess!  He did that to his shirt all by himself as well.

Heather Bratt sent a sweet suprise in the mail today!  It's a fun magnet/chalk board.  The pictures are what we sent her to let her know that we got her package.

Recovering the Chairs

We have two chairs that I have had since forever.  They both needed recovered in a bad way!  I had fun recovering them today and seeing the beautiful product of my handiwork.

Wicked

Tonight Brent and I were able to go see Wicked.  We had a fun date night even though I had a headache.  On our way home we had a drunk driver in front of us in the HOV lane.  It was pretty entertaining and scary to watch.  We called 911 and had the cops pull him over.  We gave our statements and headed home after a fun-filled evening.
