Birthday Movie for Jacob

Tonight I took Jacob and Jakob Schaffner out to the movie Sing.  First we stopped at Winco to pick up some movie candy.  The bottom pictures are my finished curtains for the kitchen.  I am thrilled with how they turned out!

Christmas Break

During Christmas Break today we were able to go to the library to learn about the different kinds of coral.  The kids made their own coral out of legos.  The bottom picture was a sweet mess that Ellie made when she was trying to get the Rice Krispies out of the pantry using only one hand.

Game Night

Having a game night with our new card holders that Sister Bratt made for us for Christmas.  These are awesome!

Grandma Pajamas

Our Grandma Pajamas this year aren't quite the same as usual.  Sweet Grandma Luke is on her mission with Grandpa Luke and was unable to make pajamas for the kids this year.  They were able to pick out pajamas for everyone though and get them to us on time for Christmas.

Gingerbread Houses

Tonight we made Gingerbread Houses!  The kids had a great time adding candy after candy and eating some along the way!

All I Want for Christmas...

Ellie lost another tooth!  All she wants for Christmas is her four front teeth!

Getting Fixed

Granger got fixed today.  You can tell that his bum hurts as he is having a hard time sitting down.  Granger hates the cone of shame and is having a hard time getting around with it on.

A Whoville Christmas Party

I was in charge of the ward Christmas party this year.  We had a Whoville theme.  I recruited the artsy people of the ward to help me out and it turned out fabulous!

Tonsillectemy

Sweet Ryan had his tonsils and adenoids removed this morning.  It was a rough go when he first woke up.  We were able to get him to eat and drink some today and he had fun playing with the toys and play room there at the hospital.  Hopefully this will reduce his heavy breathing whenever he gets a cold.  

Visiting with the Luke's

We had a long night sleeping on the stage in the church.  The kids had a hard time settling down.  We had only planned to stay one night in Polacca, so after a fun day looking at Indian Villages and a museum we headed back to Gallup for the night.

Polacca, AZ

We made it to Polacca, AZ early this morning to visit with Grandpa & Grandma Luke.  We got to go to church with them and Brent and I even sang the musical number for their branch.  There's not much to do out here.  The boys had a good time throwing rocks outside.  It's great to see the Luke's.  We will spend Thanksgiving this year with Ryan & Charlea Mortensen
